Seedance APIs for All Series
All Seedance series share the same native content and generic video endpoints, including Fast, Mini, Max, 2.5, and Dreamina/Doubao aliases.
All Seedance series use asynchronous video tasks: create a task, then poll by task ID. Gateway versions with draft-mode support return content.video_url on successful native queries; normalized GET /v1/videos/{task_id} queries return video_url. Older gateways or direct third-party APIs may return outputs[0]. See Request and Response Parameters for 2.5 task guidance and response fields.
Seedance 2.5 also supports a 480p draft followed by a 1080p final render. See Draft Mode for both steps, public task IDs, and gateway version requirements. Support for other series or channel aliases depends on the actual upstream model.
Assets are uploaded automatically. Pass publicly accessible https:// URLs directly in the image, video, or audio input fields of either request format. ModelSell automatically detects and uploads these assets, so you do not need to call /api/assets/upload beforehand.

Shared Endpoints
Follow the same endpoint and request structure as doubao-seedance-2-0-260128, replacing the complete model ID. Fast, Mini, Max, 2.5, and Dreamina aliases do not need separate paths. Resolution, duration, references, and editing/extension features depend on the selected model version.

Use the official format when you need exact content[] modality roles. Use the generic video format when your integration targets the shared /v1/video/generations endpoint.
To reuse images, videos, or audio by asset ID, you can also upload them manually with /api/assets/upload. After the asset becomes Active, pass it as asset://<asset_id> in either request format. See Asset Upload and Management.
